Literature Text
Dear Arthur,
I know you'll never read this, which is probably a good thing, really. If you did read this you'd fire me. Or have me beheaded. Or both.
I wish you could read it though, that you could understand, but that's never going to happen. This letter will probably end up being burnt, or eaten by one of the dogs. Whatever happens to it, it's not making its way to your hands.
I know you love your father, of course you do, he's all you've got. But I wish you could see what he's really like. When you told me that I'd helped you to see that magic is always evil, I felt like crying. Honestly I did. What is it that you always say? That 'no man is worth your tears.'
If only you knew.
It's through the sins of our fathers that I've ended up in this mess. That's our fathers, though, not just yours.
Your father has made you believe that magic is evil, and so many are paying for his sins. I'm glad that he used magic so that you were born - really I am, but I wish that your mother hadn't died. If she was still alive, then the king wouldn't see magic as evil, and I'd be able to tell you.
As for my father; he was magic. Obviously you know that, you helped me seek him out... not that you knew he was my father. His gift, a sin in the eyes of too many, was passed on to me, and I have to hide it. Every day I want to tell you, to show you who I really am.
I often wish that my father was just a normal man, a farmer, or maybe a blacksmith. But then, if not for my magic I would never have left Ealdor for Camelot, and you would have died so many times.
We're two sides of the same coin, that's what a friend once said, but I never knew two halves of the same thing could be so very different.
I know that one day you will be king, and magic will return to Camelot. Perhaps I'll let you read this letter then. Who knows.
With love,
Merlin.

Two secrets- Merlin x Arthur
Two secrets.
"He is dying sire," announced the king's physician gravely as he gently put his hand to the prince's neck. " I think we are going to need the priest."
"You are sure?" asked the king his face grey with torment and distress " there must be something we can do, the boy is the future king of Camelot we cannot let him die."
"I cannot feel a pulse." The physician lay his head upon the young man's chest, desperately hoping to hear his heart beating or feel the rise and fall of his chest.
A teenage boy named Merlin stood anxiously at the other side of the heavy, oak framed four poster bed upon which the dying prince lay, his precious

The Thought That Counts
It didn't strike Arthur until late into the evening of the Yule celebration that Merlin had never actually been present during one until now. Since going to Ealdor during their troubles with Kanen, Arthur had always allowed Merlin to go back and see his mother during that time of year. As a gesture of g

Merlin and Arthur's Dogs
"Arthur, can we keep him?" Merlin asked, whilst cradling a small puppy in the middle of a pet store, "Please?"
Arthur glanced at the furry bundle in his boyfriends arms and sighed, "Merlin, don't you think we have enough dogs already?"
Surely five dogs was enough? Four of which, Merlin had seen and instantly fallen in love with! The young couple were unable to take a simple stroll down the street without picking up random dogs from god knows where!
Their first dog was Arthur's childhood pet and loyal friend. Sir Leon, had been a member of the Pendragon residence since Arthur was eleven years old and he continues to stick by the boys side,
